Rihanna did an interview in Paris recently, and when asked about her fashion sense, and why it stays on the tip of everyone’s tongue, she states, “I don’t give a s**t what everyone think”. Well excuse the hell out of me!

Welcome to The Box Office Hustle…The No Brainer Edition!!! At the end of this edition, you’ll understand. So, let’s role the tape.
Arriving this weekend in third place is “Did You Hear About the Morgans?” starring Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker. The story surrounds a couple whose marriage is on the rocks. The situation gets much more complicated when they witness a murder and are forced into the witness protection program by the government. They are sent to Wyoming, a far different lifestyle than there New York environment, and forced to blend in to the culture. This should be a great comic retreat for those who are not interested in the high budget blockbusters often associated with the Holiday Season. As usual, Hugh Grant is a reliable comic player and should add to the attraction of this film. This movie is rated PG-13 for sexual references and a scene of violence.
“The Princess and The Frog” will be enjoying it’s second weekend in theaters in the number two spot. This is a retelling of the classic tale “The Frog Prince”, which we all know from our childhood. This film is a return to Disney’s classic animation in the tradition of “The Little Mermaid” and “The Lion King”. The film enjoyed a healthy opening weekend in the top spot and should continue to garner in the cash. This film will continue to appeal to all audiences, especially families with children. The critics have praised it as well and it should find itself up for an Oscar for Best Animated Film. The movie is rated G for all audiences.
Here is the No Brainer. “Avatar” will be number one. Does anyone really want to challenge that? It is, by far, the most anticipated film of the year and will rake in the dough this weekend. The story centers around an indeginous race being force off their land in order to attain a valuable mineral located in the area. It is a universal them with some amazing special effects attached. This is going to be a fun 2 and a half hours. This film will definitely hustle you out of your money…so stop fighting the urge. The film is rated PG-13 for action, adventure violence.
So, as you can see, this is a no brainer. Would I lie to you? GO GET HUSTLED!!!

At this time we would like to extend our prayers and deepest concern out to Chis Henry, of the Cincinnati Bengals, and his family. He is currently in the hospital fighting for his life after a domestic dispute with his fiance Loleini Tonga. Reports say Chris fell from the bed of a truck and Loleini pulled off after an argument outside of her home in Charlotte.
The two recently got engaged, and a few hours before the police were called in regards to this case, Loleini went on Myspace to tell about how she just purchased their rings! Here are a few of her recent Myspace posts:
“Jus put deposIt down 4 weDDing piCs… Paid 4 ouR riNgs… Bout 2 eaT wiT my maN n bay bayz…. Startin 2 geT a headache thinKing bouT dis weddin.. I need A cuP,” wrote Chris Henry’s fiancee just 23 hours ago.

I absolutely LOVE Kelis! I’m sorry but I bow down to ANYONE who could care less what you think and just can be themselves at all times if they are a celebrity or not. Kelis should be the spokesperson for “being yourself!” Through it all she has stayed level headed, never changing and might I add dope when it comes to her music game. She recently sat down with VIBE magazine to dish on whats been going on in her life, here is the scoop:
Your divorce was all over the blogosphere. How did you manage to not let the negativity affect you?
I have great friends and great family that are stellar. They are so amazing. Whether I ever sell another record or not, I have real friends and real family that stuck with me. They were like however you want to roll, we’ll roll. How do you want to do this? If you want to yell, we can yell. If you want to cry, we can cry. If you want to not think about it, we’re going to not think about it. I said ‘I don’t want to think about it.’ No one brought up anything at all. No one brought up blogs or anything.
Lets talk about your inspiration–your new son Knight. Where does his name come from?
I love that name. I thought I was having a girl. I had a whole plan. I was having a girl and I had bought pink ponies and shit. I was ready to rock and roll. I was like ‘I’m so in touch with myself.’ Obviously, I wasn’t. That was such a farce. So I only had two names for a boy: Knight and Sire. At the time, it would have been that he and I had the same initials, KJ. I just wanted a powerful and regal and majestic name for him.
Do you think having your first child during all of your turmoil with Nas helped you?
He really helped me get through everything. I could not let myself wild out and flip out and be emotional and depressed and sad and angry and all these things that naturally happen when you go through something like that. I am not going to let this little guy suffer because I’m in this situation. So I was so focused. My mourning period lasted about a week and then I was like ‘OK, I’ve got to pull this back together.’
How do you feel about “celebrity” and all that comes with being a “star”?
The thing is, music people think they’re the end all be all. Artists and people who are musicians, forget that there’s a whole world of folks out there that don’t give a crap about what you do. I’ve been doing this since I was 17, professionally, and I thought I couldn’t do it anymore. I hate the business of music. I don’t enjoy it at all. I needed a life change. I don’t need to be famous. I don’t feel like I’m public property. Even when I was married to another public figure, I fell like I’m very honest, I’m very polite. There are days that I want to take pictures and then there are days, when I’m like, ‘I love you babe, I appreciate you, but I don’t want to take a picture. I’m human. I’m not obnoxious about it. But you taking a picture of me without asking me is super rude. People do that all the time. I don’t want to be a pop star. I just want to make music that I want to make, enjoy it, love it and still go to the movies.
How did being pregnant and now being a mom change your outlook on life?
When I was pregnant I got into an argument with someone. I said ‘you have to realize, nothing you’ll ever do, ever, like for the rest of your life, will mean as much as what I’m doing now. You can win the Pulitzer prize, fucking Noble Peace Prize, and it wont even be a speck in what I’m creating. Do you know what that means?’ Half of the world can do this. That’s how I felt. I really felt like do you know how awesome I am? I’m literally making life right now. That resonated for me everyday. I was reading all these books and I joke with my baby now and I laugh and I’m like you’re made of pizza and bagels and all the good stuff in the world. I was not the perfect candidate for motherhood. But I’m like I can’t believe I made this creature, but I’m so in love.
So why natural childbirth?
I thought with all this crap, if I can do this, I’m invincible. I can do anything. I did no meds at all. They tried to give me morphine, but it was too late. I looked like hell, heinous. But I got through it. It was a very I-am-woman-hear-me-roar moment. That was some painful shit. I’ll never do it again, though.
Kudos to you chick!

You know if my mother calls me and says, “who is this lady performing with Robin Thicke”, it must have been a good performance! Robin Thicke and Nicki Minaj took the stage on BET’s 106 & Park Monday evening to perform Thicke’s track, “Shakin It For Daddy”. This is slowly becoming one of my fav songs, “You was leepin on me thinking it was slumber time/but I’m a trending topic lil momma number sign”-Nicki Minaj!

The anticipation continues this week with holiday film releases that focus more on commercial box office. The previous weekend we discussed “Invictus” and “The Lovely Bones”. That week was about two films that were anticipated due to awards they could garner. This week we will focus on two films that will certainly rake in the money.
Coming out in two weeks is “Sherlock Holmes” starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law. The film is directed by Guy Ritchie (the former Mr. Madonna) of “Snatch” fame. From the looks of it this is a film that presents Sherlock in an entirely different light. For those of you who remember the classic stories, Sherlock Holmes was a low key, mellow, gentleman of sorts. This film version seems to present the character in a more bumbling light. He appears to be a sloppy, womanizing version of the character with very little nobility. However, it has been highly hyped and anticipated for the better part of the year. Robert Downey, Jr. is now a very hot commodity since the release of Iron Man and it’s sequal being released next summer. This film will prove to be a crowd pleaser that will garner lots of money this Holiday Season. I, for one, will be there to enjoy it.
Perhaps the most anticipated film of the year is James Cameron’s “Avatar”. According to what I’ve seen from the trailer, and those who’ve had the privilege of screening the film, this will reign in a whole new method of filmmaking (sorry George Lucas). The critical praise has been phenomal thus far. The story line seems traditional as far as Hollywood goes. A native race on a certain terrain is fighting against relocating because of a valuable element that is abundant to their homeland. It is a classic archetype of fighting for a way of life. The film, supported by 3-D technology, is sure to be an entertaining ride. I will definitely see you there.
Happy Holidays, go to the movies, buy some popcorn and nachos and enjoy the show this season. I know I will.

Ok so i definitely did NOT know that was Loon under that mess of hair! Former Bad Boy rap artist Loon, speaks on giving up music, and becoming a muslim. He says, when you love music more than you love God that creates a problem….Amen!
Diddy speaks candidly in an interview with Playboy Magazine about his past attempts with drug dealing. It obviously didn’t work out and that is a good thing:
“Some of my friends were selling drugs in the Maryland and (Washington) D.C. area. I remember them having all this jewellery and new BMWs. I was eating ramen noodles, stealing from the 7-Eleven to get some food. “I thought, ‘I need to get some money like y’all have.’ So I go out on the block, the strip where they’re selling drugs, and my man says, ‘OK, I’m going to give you this. You wait there. They’ll come up to you.’ “I’m out there five minutes when three cop cars pull up and officers jump out and start chasing me. I ran and got away.“We reconvene in the same place two hours later. This time it’s dark, and all of a sudden a van pulls up. Cops jump out and start chasing me again. There’s a helicopter overhead with a light following me through the woods.” He escaped again and met up with his friends at a hide-out hours later, where he started reconsidering his plans to become a drug dealer: “I wanted to go home, but I didn’t know how to punk out and tell them. The cops were outside, and we heard them coming up the stairs (but) they were responding to a couple having an argument below us… I turned unto a scared white Harvard (University) student. God was sending me signals.“I told my friends, ‘Thanks, y’all, but no thanks. This game is not for me.’ I walked out that door, and I ain’t been around nobody with no drugs. I don’t want to see no drugs. “I’m probably the shortest-duration drug dealer in history. That’s why you never heard me talk about it in my rhymes.”
